Adam L. McKnight is a visionary leader and accomplished creative professional with a distinguished career in vocal performance, artistic direction, and technical production. As the Founder and Director of Voice of Atlanta (VOA), he has built one of Atlanta’s premier Gospel and Inspirational choirs, recognized for its excellence across national and international stages.

Adam’s reputation for excellence has led to collaborations with legendary artists such as Sir Elton John, CeCe Winans, Patti LaBelle, Cee-Lo Green, and John Barry. Notably, Adam and VOA were invited to contribute to Elton John’s Peachtree Road album and subsequently toured internationally with him. More recently, their performances are featured on Elton John’s 50th Anniversary release of Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy, further cementing their legacy in music history.

About the Choir

Comprised of seasoned vocalists from the metropolitan Atlanta area, VOA has delivered powerful performances for major corporations, global audiences, and high-profile entertainment events. Under Adam’s direction, the ensemble has partnered with leading organizations including Microsoft, Disney, AT&T, UNICEF, and the National Boys & Girls Club, among many others.

Major Performances & Highlights

A career highlight includes VOA’s performance in the Super Bowl Halftime Show, where they backed Adam Levine and Maroon 5. Their contribution was widely celebrated and recognized as a standout moment of the broadcast. VOA’s television presence also includes a feature on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN Network hit series Greenleaf, where their song “A Leak in the Building” was selected for the Season 3 premiere and featured on the official soundtrack.

In addition to his artistic achievements, Adam brings a strong background in technical support and production, ensuring seamless execution of live events and recordings. When Sir Elton John sought gospel singers for his original score The Vampire Lestat, he called Adam McKnight. After recording seven songs in five hours, Elton John was sold — and invited Adam and the entire Voice of Atlanta choir to perform on his Peachtree Road album. That partnership led to international tours and lasting collaboration.
