Adam L. McKnight - A Voice That Moves the Soul

With a captivating personality, commanding stage presence, and a voice that resonates with power and emotion, Adam L. McKnight has built a distinguished career as a singer, songwriter, arranger, producer, and entertainer. As the Founder and Director of Voice of Atlanta, Adam has dedicated his life to creating music that inspires, uplifts, and connects audiences across generations and genres. From R&B and Gospel to Pop and Opera, his remarkable vocal versatility and artistry leave a lasting impression wherever he performs.

A seasoned performer since the age of 13, Adam has evolved into a dynamic artist whose passion shines through every note. Most recently, he led Voice of Atlanta in a performance with Grammy-nominated superstar Josh Groban before a sold-out audience at Gas South Arena, reaffirming the choir's reputation as one of Atlanta's premier vocal ensembles and showcasing Adam's continued presence on some of today's most prominent stages.

Adam's musical journey has taken him around the world and placed him alongside some of the entertainment industry's most celebrated artists. He arranged and recorded background vocals with Sir Elton John for the Broadway musical Lestat and Elton's critically acclaimed album Peachtree Road. Alongside Voice of Atlanta, he toured nationally and internationally with Elton John, performing at iconic venues such as Madison Square Garden and participating in major global events including Live 8 in London. 

In 2019, Adam and Voice of Atlanta were featured in the Super Bowl Halftime Show alongside Maroon 5, adding another milestone to an already remarkable career. He and Voice of Atlanta were also featured in the MGM/Orion Pictures film Till, recording two songs for the soundtrack of the acclaimed motion picture executive produced by Whoopi Goldberg. 

Throughout the years, Adam has shared the stage with an impressive roster of legendary artists, including Stevie Wonder, B.B. King, Diana Ross, Gloria Estefan, Bonnie Raitt, Zac Brown Band, Faith Hill, Kelly Price, and The Temptations. His talents as a vocalist, arranger, and producer have also contributed to recordings by Train, CeeLo Green, Coy Bowles, Randall Bramblett, Diane Durrett, and producers Ed Roland and Phil Tan. 

Beyond the concert stage, Adam's voice has been featured in commercial campaigns for Georgia Lottery, TNT Sports, ESPN Radio, Black & Decker, and Cellular One. He has also contributed to special musical projects supporting Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, further extending the reach of his artistry and passion for community impact. 

As a solo artist, Adam has released three albums: Determination, Life: Work in Progress, and Working on Me, available on major digital music platforms worldwide. Currently, he is developing new music with Voice of Atlanta slated for release in 2027, while also working on a new solo recording project that reflects the next chapter of his artistic journey.

Dedicated to arts advocacy and mentorship, Adam serves as Associate Artistic Director and Board Member of Ballethnic Dance Company and previously served on the board of the Atlanta Chapter of the Recording Academy. Through leadership, education, and performance, he continues to inspire the next generation of artists while enriching the cultural landscape of Atlanta and beyond.
